No Boil Baked Spaghetti

Pleased to report that the leftover soup was a hit, It even got a couple compliments. Hubby wouldn't touch it but the rest did and Im proud to say there were no leftovers..

Tonight we are having no boil baked spaghetti, and Its getting rave reviews, and couldn't be easier to make...
Remember I cook for a huge family of 11 so if you dont cook for that many you can make adjustments. The great thing about baked spaghetti is you can adjust it to your taste. If you like more noodles less meat It will work the ratios do not have to be exact
The only thing you have to be aware of is
1. you have to be sure to have enough liquid for the dry pasta to absorb
2. remember your pasta will plump up when cooked so don't over fill your pan or it will runneth over

No boil baked Spaghetti

1 box spaghetti noodles ( I used Mueller's Spaghetti )
1 lb ground beef
2 large jars spaghetti sauce (i used Ragu )
1 container ricotta cheese
1/2 block queso blanco cheese
shredded cheddar
shredded mozerella
Parmesan
oregano
sweet basil
water

In a skillet brown your ground beef over medium heat

While your meat is browning you can coat a casserole dish in cooking spray

break your pasta into casserole dish. I broke mine into 3 pieces
spread evenly over bottom of casserole dish

on top of dry noodles add a layer of spaghetti sauce

spoon your ground beef on top of that

in a mixing bowl mix together half of a jar of spaghetti sauce your ricotta cheese and a cup of water

add this mixture over the ground beef

finish adding the rest of the spaghetti sauce

top with all 4 cheeses

sprinkle top with oregano and sweet basil

bake covered tightly at 400 degrees for an hour and a half

then uncover and bake until cheese is bubbly and golden brown..

We had texas toast garlic bread with it. and I predict no left overs tonight.

Whats cookin' at your house?
