What is your favorite book and what genre do you enjoy most?

1. Perhaps her behavior was partially because she blamed herself for her husbands death. Suicide is never an easy thing to deal with, but especially when you are 8 months pregnancy and find yourself depending on he kindness of strangers because you followed him 900 miles away from your nearest friend or relative.

2. Winter Reece was a down to earth, no nonsense kind of woman, and the very idea of traveling through time was absurd. But here she found herself considering doing just that when the doctor told her that her pregnancy was complicated and she might lose her unborn child.

3.  Her blood boiled as she stepped through the doors of the place she hated most. But no one was going to treat her baby that way even if she had to march through the bowels of hell to let them know that fact.

4. The yard was over grown, and the the cars never left the yard. Everything about the place indicated abandonment. But no one dared to venture into the yard to assess the situation.

5. Desmond Caprizzio had left her heart in shreds and picking up the pieces would mean a complete life overhaul, but she was ready, and life was waiting. Life that she planned to live for all it was worth, and after her recent cancer scare it was worth everything.

6. It was an ordinary 20.00 bill sitting on an ordinary cafe counter what wasn’t ordinary is that no one had been in the cafe since closing lat night and it wasn't there 5 minutes ago.

7. My days were numbered and I knew it. But witness protection was not the place for me, Id tough it out with my gun and dog for as long as I could, and if I went down, which i probably would, I would go down fighting, not cowering under an alias hidden away from everyone I loved.

8.Traffic on I-93 was bumper to bumper and going nowhere. They had moved forward at most 20 feet in the past hour, and this was not okay, because Car-la was a temperamental old girl and her red empty indicator had been on most of that hour. Lacking for better options I finally cut the motor off with a promise to Car-la that if she would just please crank back up Id give her a fill up at the next exit we passed. (if we ever passed one) and I’d make it the “good stuff”..

9. “Shoog Honeycutt? Yeah I mighta heard of him, but that's all. Quiet fella, kinda keeps to himself” the mechanic said never looking up from under the hood he was under. He didn’t skip a beat turning that wrench as he went on to say “He lives over on Mashadow Road, out past the chicken ranch, That's about all I know” He said and moved to the other side of the engine, and I took that to mean our conversation was over. I thanked him kindly and left. The smell of burned oil and sweat was making me a little nauseate anyway. Everyone in this town seemed so tight lipped, It had been a nearly impossible to make any headway in my search for Shoog. This latest lead was the closest Id gotten, and I didn’t waste a minute heading for Mashadow Rd. even if I didn’t know where to go from there. Id just have to figure it out, because finding Shoog Honeycutt could possibly be the most significant thing I would have ever done in my life. Failure was not an option.

11. They had burned her Bible, her shoes, and the only picture she had of the mother who had disappeared without a trace more than 3 years ago..

12. Grammy’s room was exactly as she had left it 2 years ago, and still mom couldn’t bear to part with a single thing Grammy owned. Id wander in there once in a while on a rainy day, or when I’d been restricted to the house as punishment for something, that I was usually sure my brother had done. My favorite thing in Grammy’s room was a box of old letters. Most were from my grandfather when he was overseas in the war, there were a few letters from friends, and homemade cards from my mother and uncle, and us grandchildren. It was nothing anyone else would have found noteworthy, but I could easily get caught up in her memories and entertain myself for hours. Today was one of those days, at a sweltering 103 degrees in the shade I ventured in to read some of her letters, already feeling nostalgic and airy, but the letter I would pick from the stack today wold change my opinion of Grammy, and possible destroy my mother.

13. She had known for years that he was having an affair, and it didn't bother her nearly as much as it seemed to bother the town folk who she would catch whispering behind her back, always giving her that sympathetic look of knowing something she didn’t, She could only smile at the fact that she knew something they didn’t Something not even her dearest friend of husband knew. She had set the whole affair up, and was quite relieved when it had sprouted wings and took off.

14. I think what makes greatness is believing you are great. That was a quality I always lacked. Until now. Until him. He was undeniably the best, and worst mistake I ever made. He had given me confidence, and showed me I was of value, something no one else in my life had ever thought I was, and something I never thought I was, He had also snatched the rug out from under me letting my glass heart shatter into a shards on the ground. He had also made me pregnant, and I hadn’t told him, had no intentions of telling him, and as far as I knew, he had no Idea so imagine my surprise the day of my daughters birth when he shows up at my delivery..

15. caramel bacon icing on devils food bundt cake, how much more heavenly could it get? My family laughed but I knew this cake would be a great success at the mayors ball, and successful it was, but not in the way I had hoped…

16. When she sneezed and the light bulbs flickered she had thought it an ironic coincidence, when she got angry and the person she was upset with developed a sudden nose bleed, she had thought she was just lucky enough to witness karma in action. But here now, she couldn’t deny that something more was going on, and the source of that weirdness was herself.

17. Uncle Spencer was kind enough to let us use his beach condo for 2 weeks this summer, and we were all excited about the adventures we would have. But what should have been the highlight of our summer turned sour on day one…
18. When I walked into the crowded room my plan was to kill everyone there and if the police hadn’t shot me down before I was done I planned to take the blood bath on the road and kill everyone at Willow general Hospital, or as many as I could before they shot me down. I didn't care, I had nothing to live for anymore.

19. 118 Massey street was quite possibly the most haunted places I knew of, and I wasn't sure I could in good conscience try to sell this place to an unsuspecting victim. But I was a realtor and it was on the market so what other choice did I have.

20. The two things that scared me most in this world were dying, and never actually living, so I made it my goal in life to live life to the fullest, which explains why I was about to jump out of this perfectly good airplane with nothing more than a hope that this backpack full of rope and fabric would save me from an untimely demise.
