Coffee is a must have on hand thing around here. I could easily drink my weight in coffee daily, Coffee is kind of magical. It can lend itself to sweet or savory dishes and is packed with flavor, instant coffee is an item I try to always have in my spice cabinet, for rubs, or smoothies, or in cooking. Yes.. Cooking.. with coffee. I mean I'm pretty sure its america's favorite beverage, It's like the bacon of the drink world. Am I wrong?

I prefer to drink coffee made in my Keurig that I got for christmas last year, but for cooking, camping, and some coffee drink recipes, and other recipes the instant stuff is the ticket and is always good to have on hand in case, God forbid there is a power outage.  Instant coffee was a God send that week we were without power for a week during an ice storm a couple years ago..

My favorite roast seasoning blend includes instant coffee. I have added instant coffee to everything from cupcakes, to pot roast, to brownies, to chicken, and the list goes on. Even my non coffee drinking husband enjoys a good coffee spiced roast. or coffee infused brownie with coffee icing and bacon sprinkles on top.
