earliest snow on record in 100 years and a carolina football game on the same day

This is what we woke up to saturday morning... The earlies recorded snow in our area in one hundred years. No one expected it, I dont think the weather folks even saw it coming. I love when mother nature reminds us she can do what she wants. We loved seeing the snow, and Im glad it left as quickly as it came. The night before we were trick or treating is short sleeves. By the afternoon of the snow day, you'd have never guessed the ground was covered in a blanket of white earlier that morning. I love the weather in Aiken South Carolina, you never know what you might get. Our little area made weather history on November 1st 2014.

The weather wasn't the only thing that was unexpected that day. The night before I had gone online and surprised my boys with tickets to the Carolina gamecocks vs Tennessee football game and imagine the disappointment at thinking hubby's first in a long time and my boys first ever college football game was gonna get snowed out. Things worked out, they went, and it was a cold cold night with some major wind. You know you want something bad when you can't feel your toes but stay and suffer it out anyway. Which is what they did until the last minutes of the game. THey left with 10 minutes on the clock and Carolina way ahead in points thinking they had this game in the bag. No sooner had they left than the game I was watching on tv took a turn and Tenneesee wiped the floor with those chickens. This suited me just fine because I am a clemson fan and anyone who plays against gamecocks fan.

I call myself a Clemson fan but truth is I dont know squat about football, I just know I like orange better that garnet...
