How the months of the year got their names

Ever wonder how the months got their names? I did so I found out and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

January--named for the God Janus
February--month of Februa
March--named for the God Mars
April--month of Aphrodite
May--month of Maia
June--named for the God Juno
July--named for Julius Caesar
August--Augustus Caesar
September--the seventh month
October--the eighth month
November--the ninth month
December--the tenth month

If you were renaming the months what would you name them?
