Ideas for using pumpernickel bread

pumpernickel bread is awesome lots of ideas for pumpernickel bread

Today was another lovely fall day, the breeze was awesome, still a little more on the hot side than I like it, but certainly better than the sweltering summer heat. I feel a little guilty that I didn't do more outdoorsy things today it was so beautiful out and I wasted so much of it inside Sigh... It has been a lazy Sunday for all of us, we watched a little nascar, and of course our favorite TV series Once Upon a time came on tonight the second episode in the new season and we watched it.

Now I'm sitting enjoying some crunchy peanut butter on pumpernickel that Hannah brought home for us to enjoy. Tomorrow I plan to make a dip, or fondue, to go with the rest of the loaf but tonight peanut butter on pumpernickel hit the spot. Its a new idea to me, I love a good juicy, drippy, Reuben piled high with corned beef and sour kraut and thousand island dressing and in fact its my go-to menu item when we eat at arby's but I never thought too much about what else you could do with Reuben. That's changed now that my Hannah works at a bread company, and with a loaf in the kitchen it is on my mind. So after discussing it with a friend, I have several ideas thanks to her.

Here are a few of the ideas we tossed around. What do you put on your pumpernickel bread?

Let me know what you do with pumpernickel the idea of anything but a Reuben with pumpernickel is new to me so I am open to suggestions..

For now though, I have to get back to imagination land, Clarissa and I have a serious game of pretend to get back to.. I am super girl and she is my daddy in this play session.. Fun stuff.. I love this child so much..

I hope she remembers these fun play times we had together for a long time even after I am gone I love this grandgirl
