So, my oldest daughter has gone off the deep end, and at 20 years old she has hit her rebellious stage full force. She disappeared for an entire weekend, and I even filed a missing persons report before she finally turned up. She is apparently now dating a drug dealer, and has gone from good little christian girl always in church to dope dealers bitch. Or as his facebook status called her his "boothang". OMG its enough to make you want to hurl. When I read her relationship status I wasn't sure weather to cry, or puke, or both.

I know two other moms going through similar stuff with their teens, and all three of us are thinking, maybe i sheltered them too much, or maybe I gave them too much, or maybe I wasn;t strict enough, and Im trying to remember my teen years, and what I thought , and how I felt. I should be more understanding of this because if there was a rebellious teen in my neighborhood it was me. My parents sucked, and they didn't know anything, and I raised my kids determined to not be like my parents, and I was not like my parents, but it still wasnt right. She still moved out, went nuts, is in the process of destroying her life, and what can I do but sit back and watch it all unfold, and pray... ALOT!!!

unfortunately life isn't all sunshine and roses, and there is no right answer. All we can do is love them anyway.

Tell me your rellious child story? let's support each other through the crap our children put us through, and apologize to our parents for the crap we put them through.

What I see in this image... She is a woman of stone, strong, unbending, life has probably turned her cold, and it takes a great deal to wear down her emotions, but something has hit home and brought tears to her eyes. What could make such a sturdy woman cry? Obviously something to do with her family. Maybe the loss of a child. Yes I think even the hardest heart of stone would cry at that.. This is unreal, so sad for this family, and to think releasing him doesn't untarnish his reputation in the community. People are crazy. It got me thinking about some of the things my kids have drawn, and if my son would get us in trouble if the school saw his picture of the dog, he drew genitals on the dog, not because he was thinking of something dirty, just because thats the way out dog looks, he has short hair and that is noticeable and so my son drew what he saw. My son got a bad grade on a picture he colored once in kindergarten because he colored a fish all different colors, one fin was green, each scale was a different color, another fin was yellow, it was a rainbow fish, and he had colored all inside the lines but because she didn't like that he colored it multi colored instead of sticking with one color through out he got a bad grade. He has never colored how he felt like coloring again, and I hate that. how can you fail art? its self expression its the one thing you cant mess up.. reason 945 that people are stupid..
