tell them you care
Im they type of person who is usually very open with my feelings, and thoughts, what I don't say I write.. But mostly I say it. If I don't like you Ill tell you, and if I do like you.. Ill tell you..
Alot of people arent open to that level of sharing, and so i don't have many friends. But thats ok because the ones I do have are true friends. I dont tell them daily, or even weekly, but periodically I write emails that say things like " I think you are great, and here is what I think is so great about you, and be proud of who you are and I think God see's your awesomeness and is proud of who you are too" something like that.
No one I know is a mind reader, and if I die tomorrow I dont ever want them to wonder what I thought about them, or how I felt, I think sometimes people just need to hear that they are ok, and it is ok. You don't know what they are dealing with in life and maybe a few kind words from someone who cares might make all the difference in the world. If you ge an urge to sing someones praises you should. Call it devine intervention, call it God's work, whatever just do it. Tell them.. Brighten a day.. Give someone spirits a life. Be a cornball.. Just tell the myou care. You might not be here tomorrow to let them know.

It's no secret, its just something that is commonly over looked or misinterpreted. Fact is we all die. But there is a way to live on past your death... In the memories of those you touched. My grandfather will probably live forever because he led such an adventurous life that his stories will go on for generations to come. My mom still tellls me stories of my grandpa's adventures and misadventures and I tell them to my kids who will likely tell them the their kids because they are good stories and it gives you a sense of pride to know that the blood of the man who did "that" also runs through your veins.
So I tell you friends and neighbors.. The key to imortality is rolling down hills with your kids, making mud pies, fishing with marshmallows when you have no bait, having soda pop wars with canned sodas, those are the memories that will live live on way past your life time. Those are the stories your cildren will tell teir children with a smile and a sense of pride because the blood of the woman who "did that" also runs through them.
