bacon cupcakes

our cupcake recipe

devils food cake mix
box of instant chocolate pudding
(mix those dry ingredients together)
add about 1/2 a cup of sour cream
(we used the food processor and chopped up chocolate chips and individually wrapped caramel soft candies until they were a fine powder.. it looked like cocoa powder but melted when you used your fingers to sprinkle it so id advise you to use a spoon)
we added about half of our chocolate chip caramel mixture to the cake mix and saved the rest)
we followed the directions on the cake mix box and added all those ingredients mixed it all together and filled our greased muffin cups about half way sprinkled more of the chocolate caramel mixture on top of that finished filling our cups and baked per box instructions)

icing
a tub of coolwhip, the rest of ouf powdered caramel and chocolate chip mixture except enough to dust the top, very finely chopped cooked bacon, a tablespoon of strong black coffee and a hint of maple flavoring mixed all that up ied the cupcakes and refridgerated about 30 minutes (the icing will turn a slightly brown color as it sets this is ok its the chocolate and coffee in it that does that) sprinkle remaining chocolate caramel dust and bacon over top )

Im mostly just writing this down cuz we liked it and i dont want to forget what I did cuz i never use recipes...
