Another soap box sermon about being thankful

The holiday season has had me busy with T-shirt and decal orders and I haven't posted in some time now. But today I want to just say...

I hope you all take a look at the bigger picture this holiday season.. Don't be sad cuz you can't buy that high dollar gift, don't have that perfect life.. I have a friend who just lot her house and everything she had in a house fire just 10 days before Christmas, and a girl my kids grew up with and went to school with just lost her life to a drug overdose and her family will be spending their first Christmas without her. Children are supposed to bury parents not the other way around.. I have an aunt who is battling cancer and coming to terms with the fact that this could be her very last Christmas with her children and grandchildren, and her still living mother coming to terms with the fact that she too may be burying a child which is something a parent shouldn't ever have to ever do..
These are REAL problems.. These folks are thankful for what they have left, each other, one more day, one more hour, one more memory. So those of you angry cuz you can't afford that one more gift, you dont make enough money, you dont have enough time, You really should be be thankful for what God has given you.. not angry for what you don't have because God could so easily take away the blessings in your life in an instant. God is a parent, and like any other parent.. If you dont act right he might take your toys.. So act right... Not saying that is the case with the people suffering loss, butjust saying everything good in your life could be stripped away in a moments time... GIVE THANKS!!!!
