Ive been shocked at how fast this stuff has grown Ill keep posted about further grown, but within less than 18 hours under a fluorescent light I can already see new growth... WOW..

I am also trying carrot and pasrsnip tops, and garlic from a clove that was sprouting in the bag.. Hve you ever grown new plants from the waste of old ones?

quoatablility

I love quotes.. biblical quotes, famous people quotes, even quotes from locals that no one knows but me.. One of the best quotes I have ever heard was from a 15 year old kid, and I dont know if he heard it somewhere before he said it to me or if he thunk it up.. But he said " you cant get to heaven with hate in your heart" and as crazy as it may sound to some. That 15 year old boy who is on a bad path at the moment made more sense to me than some Einstein and Edison quotes... Her isn't following that lifestyle now, but that quote lets me know that someday he could, because he knows that quote and it resonated in him enough to pass it on to someone. I think if he gets all his wild oats sowed, and survives doing it.. Then he could just possibly be one of the worlds greatest minds ever...

My aunt loves to say "if you don't want to be a door mat don't lay down so people can walk on you:"

My moms fav. is "anyone can be good for a while"

another fav. of mine is "this too shall pass"

what are your favorite quotes and what gives them meaning to you?

so recently I read a blog post about being to fat to be in pictures. I am a huge fan of the blog writer, and I can relate to alot of her thoughts. But this one in particular got me thinking about how many pictures I am in with my family. The answer is none, or almost none. I try to make sure I am behind the camera capturing every moment. But never in any of them. The blog she wrote, and the blog that inspired her to write it were two women who did the same. Well, today I vow to start being in some of those pictures, because what I saw when i looked at these womens pictures were mothers who loved their family, and thats a good memory to capture for your children when you are gone. So, for starters Ill post these, and form now own I vow to make sure I am in some pictures with my family so they can remember that moment even when im gone..
